Restaurants and pubs:


Howe Sound brewery: Great local beer and live music.

The Grizzly: Pro Skiiers/Snowboarders, loggers, pool and live music.
 The Burrow: Best loungy tapas and amazing ceasars. Not to be missed.

The Watershed Grill: Perfect on a Sunday morning, go for a walk along the river,see some sea lions, count some eagles and stop in here for brunch. Great river views!

Zephyr Cafe
 Small cafe downtown, a cool spot to grab a coffee before heading out to climb the chief. This place is full of people coming in from kite boarding, meeting up to go mountain biking, etc.

Sunflower Bakery: Cafe downtown. Probably the most famous in Squamish.

Hikes and cool outdoor spots:

The Spit For Kiteboarding and windsurfing.
Shannon Falls You can drive here or walk over from the bottom of the chief.

The Chief Hiking, camping, climbing, top of the must do list.

Alice Lake Beaches,camping, great for kids, busy in summer.
Brohm Lake No beach, just cliffs to lounge on and jump off. Great swimming.
Cat Lake Secluded, walk-in only, small, warmest  lake.
Murrin Small lake right before you enter Squamish, climbing, swimming, left side of highway.

Paradise Valley Kayaking, camping, hiking, amazing river, dirtbiking, fishing, everything..
